SJR14 is a proposed Constitutional Amendment to the Nevada Constitution. It already passed the Legislature in 2017. In order to become part of the Nevada Constitution it must pass the Legislature again in 2019 and if it does it will then go on the ballot for a vote of the people in 2020. The purpose of the Coalition to STOP SJR14 includes: identifying Legislators, other elected officials and candidates who oppose SJR14 and sharing that information with Coalition members; defeating SJR14 during the 2019 Legislative Session; and if it passes opposing the Question on the ballot.

SJR14 is a proposed Constitutional Amendment to change the way property taxes are assessed in Nevada. It passed the 2017 Legislature. It would need to pass the 2019 Legislature and then go on the ballot in 2020. State Senator Julia Ratti from Dist. 13 Reno-Sparks was the sponsor.
